Pilot offer · compatibility review
My Raspberry Pi connects the Stream Deck to the iPad. The setup is still being validated and is offered first as a pilot.

Check my compatibilityThe relay sends the Spotlight keyboard shortcut. This is the action confirmed on Frédéric’s iPad.
Keyboard sequences are prepared. Success depends on an unlocked iPad, keyboard layout and the foreground app. Pilot validation is required.
YouTube, editing and bookmarks: prepared, not guaranteed. Channel switching opens a selector; account selection remains manual.
Companion maps keys to actions. The relay on the Raspberry presents itself to the iPad as a Bluetooth keyboard. The iPad must be paired and unlocked; the Raspberry needs power.
Documented equipment: 15-key Stream Deck MK.2, Raspberry Pi and Companion 5.0.5. Other Stream Deck models, versions and systems require assessment; universal compatibility is not claimed.
Elgato’s official solution connects a Stream Deck directly over USB to a compatible iPad (M1 or later, iPadOS 17 or later), for apps that integrate support. If your app supports it, consider that option first.
My setup targets keyboard shortcuts and reuse of a Companion control setup, with the Stream Deck connected to the Raspberry. It adds a box, power supply and configuration; it does not unlock every function in every app.

Your setup comes first
Describe your equipment, then submit your request. Frédéric will review the intended use before offering a proposal. The form does not automatically certify compatibility.
No. Requests are open without payment. The quote will specify tested functions, deliverables and timing.
Companion is free and open source. You pay for my configuration, integration and assistance. Software and component licences still apply.
No. These V4 pages still need hardware testing. Saving the current URL also requires an Apple shortcut and local network: Bluetooth alone cannot read Safari. Opening a public channel does not change the signed-in account.
Complete files, detailed settings, scripts and recovery procedures are reserved for client deliverables. Principles, requirements and limitations are explained here.
